Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop makes an excellent choice for those living in apartments since it has smaller docking systems and carries its own rubbish bin. Its app lets you set up various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping feature is also impressive.
Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it mops very well cleaning up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties itself and self-cleans and replenishes its water tank.
Roomba Combination from iRobot
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobotCombo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with a mobile app that is more user-friendly however it's a great alternative. It was able to consistently remove dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems, like LiDAR or structured light, but it still is able to avoid most collisions.
The Combo includes the majority of the same features as the j7 Plus with the addition of new onboard acoustic sensors to determine floor type and AI-powered navigation. However, it lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only version and doesn't have a an auto-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its sleek design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the market. The sleek, matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's small details--like a leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf within the dock to hold extra bags--are more classy than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock
Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robot mop and vacuum industry, has already made its mark with an array of cutting-edge cleaning technologies. The vacuums are renowned for their suction power, while the brand's mopping systems include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. You can also alter the bot's cleaning routine by making use of a variety of scheduling and mapping features.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature enables the robot to spot objects that are lower than its own height. This is especially useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the top of its kind when it comes to navigation, due to the combination of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to slam into furniture and run over pet faeces, without even noticing, but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using an AI system called Reactive that utilizes twin cameras to detect objects in the room.
Roborock robots come with a range of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. They include docks that can be automatically empty, and mop washing stations with multiple functions. These features eliminate the need to empty bins and wash mops by hand, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its straightforward design and the lag-free connection to the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
With a wide range of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping features, the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five technologies to design and follow the most efficient route. It also recognizes different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even raise itself 7mm to glide across carpets. Smart spray system is able to use just the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving water marks.
The Legee is a Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are priced higher. It is more feature-rich than either of them with the more flexible D-shaped body that cleans the corners and under cabinets better than a round robot. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) 4 forward-facing sensors and 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors both front and rear (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM, which helps to eliminate the bump-and-grind issues that plague Gen 4 robots.
Unlike most other robots, the Legee features an integrated trash compactor that is compatible with the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop washing station is included and is able to wash, refill and dries your mop 'cloth. This means you can use it for up to six times longer than other mop cloths. It also reduces waste and the frequency at which bins are emptied.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is known for its pressure washers and gardening tools, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for a long time. This is the most technologically advanced model from the company. It creates maps of your home using LiDAR, and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It can also detect the difference between carpets and hard floors, so that you don't get the dreaded pile of puddles.
Its navigation is top-quality it can navigate around furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lifting itself over steps. The robot can be customized with a variety of settings that include cleaning schedules and rooms it should clean. It has an emergency button' that will force the robot to return home when its power goes out. It can be programmed to turn off automatically if a storm approaches.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite large at almost 4kg, it's not too difficult to maneuver around furniture. Children with small hands will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn you to stay clear of steps. Once fully charged it will take just a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will turn green to indicate it's ready to go.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends modern cleaning technology and affordability. It is a competitor to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's bestseller Q Revo. Despite its price being lower, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models cannot compete with. robot vacuum cleaners utilizes sensors to adjust its settings to different surfaces and floors and also to detect areas that are less clean and ensure they are given enough attention. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.
The device can help you map your home's interior, which you can view within the app. You can also mark out specific rooms and objects that you would like the vacuum to stay clear of. The device will slow down when it detects an obstacle, and will stop from bumping into it. The device also comes with an intelligent dust bin, which alerts you to the fullness of the bin so that you can empty the bin on time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a affordable option for those who wish to outsource their cleaning chores. It has dual functionality as mop and robot vacuum, allowing you to keep your floors clean without lifting a finger. It also has a smart design that boosts the efficiency of cleaning corners by as much as 60 percent. It comes with up to 7000 Pa of suction power, and RoboSwing arms, and it can be controlled via the app or voice assistants, such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a sleek and well-equipped hybrid robot vacuum/mop that does a bang up job of keeping floors clean and span. While it's not able to raise its mops on carpets or rugs like the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's very good at both cleaning hard floors and taking on damp mopping duties with impressive speed. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, a variety of mopping options, and a high-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.
It's smaller than the other models, and its main brush is a bit shorter but it still managed to do a good job in our test room. The edge brush that rotates on the side is a nice feature. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it performed well.
Individual cleaning parameters can be set for each room and the device will create detailed maps of the rooms with built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control via the app and a range of voice output options will keep you informed about the status of your home robot. Regular software updates enhance and improve the capabilities. The app can be used to remotely control the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
