Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet messes (spills or staining) in one session without the need to switch out devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living areas.

A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bin and fill up their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads with an appropriate dock.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has plenty to offer at a modest price, and it's one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual gets you up and running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, as well as a selection of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app which lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.

For instance, you can decide to let the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the kitchen and living rooms but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and its smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only drawback is that it is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However, a quick look at the cleaning history on the app will show you exactly what the robot accomplished, where it's moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.

The docking station has a handy LCD screen that indicates when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and rinsing the dirty water tank. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with Eufy's own solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is capable of running for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before having to recharge or return to the base to replenish. You can also view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and easily understood although we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum only or mop and vacuum clean when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. In contrast to the model of last year it comes with a double agitator in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to remove small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might miss.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which can help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its course in a way that is automatic and clean around them without missing a step.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also loaded with features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child-lock and a home-button that can take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml of water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin automatically refills.

The only issue I encountered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth when needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app, which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with cutting-edge features, high suction power, and advanced mopping capabilities. Its smart design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful alternatives available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair dust, crumbs and any other dry debris. It also has a high-quality mop that leaves floors sparkling clean, even with a wet pad. In addition the X40 is extremely quiet during it's operation, producing only occasional squeaks of sound when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.

The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be lifted and extended. This lets it reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture that is curved such as table and chair legs. It also lets the robot to access low-profile furniture making it an ideal option for apartments or condos with tight spaces. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a great feature that helps the X40 to prevent damage to floors from repeated back-and-forth movements.

In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpets and mop only hard floors, or vice versa. It can be controlled using the Dreame app or with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.

The app is simple and simple to use and the X40's intelligent features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times. They can also adjust suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many features that make it an excellent option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin into a large 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, then refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is filled and notify you when it overflows, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. It has many features that make it stand out. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and remove spills and dirt-stained spots.

The mop is cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from building up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.

There's a wealth of settings on offer, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and alter a variety of preferences.  cheap robot vacuum  allows you to make these settings or make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and has a lot of options for customizing the cleaning process, and there are many features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of relying on an individual setting.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list however it's not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-built. Mopping is well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
