Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos
The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuum and mop combos I've tested. Its base station has an enormous water tank as well as a dustbin, and its dual rubber brush is less likely to tangle hair than single bristles.
Its mopping performance is excellent and its AI mapping excels at eliminating obstacles. It also has the capability to pause its cleaning job and resume it where it began.
1. Roomba Combo j9+
The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most advanced 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop cleaners available today. It features a sleek, self emptying Clean Base which can be used to store up to two mopping cycles. It's designed to look just like a small desk. It's also the sole robot mop we've tested with an onboard water reservoir to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.
The mopping arm is placed in a discreet manner at the top of the unit. It lowers when it detects hard surfaces, and it begins to scrub. It moves slowly across surfaces to avoid accidentally spreading wet spills or mud on carpeted areas. It does a great job of staying clear of the path of furniture, cords and other obstacles.
It's more intelligent than other robot vacuums, too due to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to modify the settings of your cleaner prioritize rooms based on dirtiness, set schedules and cleaning times and more. The app provides you with detailed maps of your home and seasonal recommendations, as well as customized cleaning routines as well as intuitive smart-home integrations.
This robot vac/mop uses iRobot’s Imprint Smart Mapping Technology to recognize objects such as sofas, tables, and counters. And it can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to help you clean your home without hassle.
The Roomba J9+ unlike other vacuums and mopping robots, creates a map of your house 7x faster than the previous models. It also categorizes each area by floor type, to ensure that it will be aware of the area you want to vacuum or mop. It also has a Turbo Mode that boosts suction for difficult spots. In addition, with iRobot's Dirt detective software, it will detect your cleaning habits and preferences, allowing it to automatically adjust your cleaning priorities and settings, such as mop scrubbing movements, for the dirtiest parts of your home.
2. Yeedi M12 Pro+
The Yeedi M12 Pro+, with its user-friendly application and top-quality features, is a strong competitor in the market of automatic vacuum and mop robots. Its strong suction and ingenuous mopping technology make it an ideal cleaning partner for smart homes. Its smart automation and affordable price make it an excellent option for families on a tight budget.
To begin using the M12 device, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the instructions on screen to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you'll be asked to give your robot an unique name. It's important to note that the M12 supports 2.4 GHz networks only.
The M12 comes with a variety of cleaning options, including vacuuming and mopping. Its innovative design allows the M12 to map a space in six minutes and then adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its mopping technology is advanced and includes dual spinning pads with electronically controlled water and a "True Edge Adaptive Edge Mopping System" which helps ensure thorough cleaning of all edges of the floor.
In terms of navigation, the M12 uses LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. The sensors are capable of finding larger objects, like HVAC vents and furniture. However, they may struggle with smaller objects, like cables and small rags, which can cause the robot to miss spots.
The M12 also has the ability to detect and navigate up stairs thanks to its built-in inclinometer. It also returns automatically to its OMNI Station to dry and wash the mop brushes, and refill its water tank. When the batteries are exhausted, the OMNI Station can also clean itself and empty the dust bin when the batteries are depleted.
3. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the most cutting-edge robot cleaning, packing an incredible quantity of features in an attractive package. It comes with a large mopping capacity, as well as cameras to help it avoid obstacles. It also has a powerful vacuum that detects when it is going over carpets. It also includes advanced technology and voice assistant capabilities.
It is a great vacuum and mop, completing our 1,500-square foot test area in a mere 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. Its mop cleans itself between uses, which reduces maintenance costs and helps keep its pads clean. A dock sensor detects when a mop pad becomes dirty and initiates the wash cycle.
Like cheap robot vacuum cleaner , the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that can detect household objects like shoes and pet waste using the camera and LIDAR combo. It did well during our obstacle avoidance test, with only one hiccup (it was stuck while unwinding a ball wool that was wrapped around its brush arm).
The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts a new suction power of 10,000pa. power, more than twice its predecessor. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of carpeting and different kinds of flooring. The vacuum can be programmed to automatically increase the suction when it comes across dust or crumbs.
Like previous models, multiple docking stations can be set up to automate the cleaning and mopping process. The docking station is connected to your home plumbing system and drain and replenish the water tank after you're done.
4. Dreametech X40 Ultra
The Dreame X40 Ultra is the latest flagship robot mop and vacuum cleaner from Dreame and comes with several features that the company's less expensive models do not have. It is an impressive suction power and can mop floors with ease. It also comes with a variety of advanced features, including self-detangling roller brushes as well as auto-extending mop heads that make it a perfect option for hands-free cleaning. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station as well as a dust collector filter. The mop pads are automatically drained and cleaned in hot water. After each cleaning session, the soiled water tank will be emptied automatically.
It has advanced options to customise the cleaning schedule. For example you can set a specific start and stop time for each cycle or whether it should be able to vacuum carpets first before mopping. It can be programmed to re-clean dirty areas and to boost suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks upon demand for example, cleaning the kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush whenever it detects wet areas and to clean up debris from the edges and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra has a simple intuitive application that comes with many features. It is simple to use and set up. It is quieter than other corded vacuums, and has only the occasional low hum of its motor and bursts of suction during cleaning. Its navigation system is awe-inspiring, as it uses a camera that has 3D structured light as well as multiple lasers to locate and avoid obstacles, and this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores for obstacle avoidance in our evaluations.
5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is an impressively powerful mop and vacuum combination that has been developed to be user-friendly. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and refills its own tank with clean water, automatically emptying the dust bin into a smaller container, and washes and dries its own mop pad during cleaning sessions. It also has a sophisticated feature set that lets it switch between hard and rugs effectively removing dirt and pet hair from carpets, and clear the thresholds of rooms that are raised.
The S1 Pro's navigation and mapping are excellent, with the internal dToF LiDAR device that allows it to keep the appearance of a slim profile while offering top-of-the-line object avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it can also raise its mop when driving over rugs or short-pile carpets. It had a difficult time when it came across longer-pile carpets, and some thick, long messes with dried-on debris.
Like robot vacuum cleaners that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box and needs only the initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can add or merge rooms as necessary. You can also set virtual boundaries and no-go zones or no-mop zones in case there's something you don't want the robot to get into.
The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head, which puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop is a great option for homes with floors of both types. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box) makes it less versatile as other robots that allow you to add your own cleaning solutions.
