Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can take care of different floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or carpets.

The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.
This robot combo is easy to install and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. budget robot vacuum are quite good, though it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are very good with a pair of spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to get every last bit of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The K10 Plus also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
